Growing up in central Texas, sports have always been a big part of my life. Seeing each athlete seemingly create magic right before my eyes has always captivated me. Unforgettable moments like watching the Spurs championship runs in the summer or Travis Pastrana’s double backflip at the 2006 X-games, these were moments filled with inspiration that would then lead me to picking up a camera to capture it all.

Now some years later, I find myself focusing my creative energy into capturing the sports I love and trying to share how incredible each one is to me. From the high flying action to the micro movements created by an athlete that have been honed in for years. It’s these details I try and capture in my work and something that always keeps me coming back.

When I don’t have a camera in my hand, I’m usually on my bike or at the gym hoping to get a sense of what the athletes I capture feel. My work is shaped by a feeling of freedom, where there are no rules and the possibilities are endless.
